Which cells fit?: The compartment is tight and won't accept every 18650 — protected cells in particular can be too long or wide. Check dimensions before ordering spares.
What's wrong with the Mk IV thermal control?: Owners find the regulation less well tuned than earlier generations, so the top level heats fast and steps down in a way that feels crude. The levels below it work as they always did.
