The pure-flood member of the H604 family: no reflector at all, so there's no centre hotspot — just an even wash of light, which is exactly right for anything within arm's reach. It runs an XHP50.2 at 4000K with 93 to 95 CRI, and owners describe the tint as beautiful and say they're very satisfied with the output. In forest conditions one owner calls it spectacular, which makes sense: a floodlight with high colour rendering shows texture and depth that a hotspot flattens.

The H604c is identical to the H604d apart from colour temperature — 4000K against 5000K. The complaints are small: the button is little enough that one owner wished it were larger for changing modes, and the pure flood is poor for anything at distance. Note that Zebralight discontinued this model, so new stock may be hard to find.

Questions people ask

H604c or H604d?: Identical lights apart from colour temperature — the c is 4000K, the d is 5000K. Pick the c for a warmer, more forgiving tint outdoors and the d for something closer to daylight.
Why no reflector?: Because for close work a hotspot is a nuisance — it creates a bright circle you keep having to aim. The H604 puts out an even wash instead, which is what you want when working with your hands.
Can it still be bought?: Zebralight discontinued it, so new units are increasingly hard to find. The H600Fc is the closest current alternative, using a frosted lens rather than no reflector.
Is it good outdoors?: For walking and camp, yes — one owner calls it spectacular in forest, where high CRI and even coverage show terrain well. For seeing anything at distance, no.
