Zebralight's design philosophy is subtraction, and the SC64c LE is the clearest expression of it. There is no onboard charging and no overdriven turbo, and owners regard both omissions as features: the light is smaller, lighter and more reliable for not having them, and its efficiency at the levels people actually use is exceptional.

Owners describe the size, ergonomics and beam profile as close to ideal for pocket carry, and the LH351D gives a wide, floody beam with good colour. The recurring reservation is tint. Zebralight selects tint bins that are less likely to go green than average, but the SC64c LE is not a true high-CRI light and at least one careful reviewer found red rendering weaker than other lights using the same emitter. Owners who have asked for a better sample report that Zebralight has been accommodating. The other long-standing quirk is the pogo-pin battery contact, which has been known to dent the top of flat-top cells if the light takes a knock.

Questions people ask

Why is there no USB charging?: Zebralight leaves it out deliberately. A charging port needs space, a seal and electronics, all of which make the light bigger and add failure points. Owners who like the brand generally consider the trade worthwhile; owners who want to charge in place should look elsewhere.
Is the tint actually good?: It's good rather than exceptional. Zebralight bins the LH351D to avoid green, which is the failure mode people notice most, but this isn't a 95 CRI light and deep reds are its weak point. If tint is your priority, a 519A-based light will please you more.
What's the difference between the SC64c LE and the SC64w HI?: The 'c' is the high-CRI-leaning floody version with the LH351D; the 'w HI' uses a different emitter for a tighter, further-reaching beam with cooler, lower-CRI output. Choose the LE for close work and the HI for distance.
Should I use protected or flat-top cells?: Zebralight specifies unprotected flat-top 18650s and the light has its own low-voltage protection. Given the pogo-pin denting reports, high-quality cells and a bit of care about knocking it over are both worth it.
