The clearest demonstration in this catalog that throw comes from optics rather than output: 1,200 lumens — unremarkable — concentrated by a Cree XP-LR and a custom TIR into 127,806 candela and 715 metres of reach, from an 88mm body weighing 106.5 grams. Acebeam describe the TIR as giving a cleaner, more controlled beam with better light transmission than a reflector, and the numbers support it.
The build is AL6061-T6 with a hard-anodised finish, rated IP68 and for 1.5-metre drops. It runs a USB-C rechargeable 16340 and accepts CR123A as a fallback, which is a genuinely useful combination for an emergency light. What you're accepting is a tight beam with very little spill — awkward at arm's length — and short runtime from a 16340 at high output.
