Acebeam K1

Acebeam/EDC

Acebeam K1

Three sources in an AA tube: a Cree XP-LR for 1,000 lumens of white at 12,432 candela, a green beam for signalling and a 1,000 mW 365 nm UV emitter, chosen by a rotary magnetic ring with a tail switch for on and off. White runs a minute at full before stepping to 650 and then 110 lumens for an hour in total; low lasts sixty hours. The included 14500 charges over its own USB-C port and the light takes any AA. Cool white only with no CRI stated, and the $89.90 Cyan 488 nm edition is a beam-colour variant rather than an upgrade.

Beam profile

Balanced, about 18° wide. A usable hotspot with enough spill to see around it.
