The charging behaviour is the thing to know: USB-A to USB-C cables work with standard 2A chargers, but USB-C PD chargers using a C-to-C cable don't — a compatibility quirk that catches people out with modern laptop and phone chargers. Cell fit is also fussy: some standard 21700s lose contact without a spacer, and protected cells can be too tight. The lockout is awkward, needing a long press to unlock then another press to switch on, and the light is too heavy to wear comfortably on a hat.

Why won't it charge from my laptop charger?: It doesn't negotiate with USB-C PD chargers over a C-to-C cable. Use a USB-A to USB-C cable with a standard 2A charger and it works fine — an annoying but well-documented quirk.
Which battery should I use?: The supplied cell, or an unprotected flat-top 21700. Some standard cells need a spacer to make reliable contact and protected cells are often too long or too fat.
Is the lockout usable?: It works but it's clumsy — long press to unlock, then a separate press to switch on. Reviewers find it inconvenient enough to mention, while acknowledging it's doing its job.
