Thrunite/EDC

Thrunite Coreforge

The successor to the Defender flat light, which it matches spec for spec: 1,600 lumens, 139 metres, white plus 365 nm UV plus a green laser, a built-in 1,500 mAh cell now UL-certified, and a reinforced clip. A selector dial chooses lock, white, laser or UV and a centre button runs the five levels, two-click turbo and strobe. USB-C charging and a magnetic base. The 4,830 candela figure is derived from the beam distance, close to the 4,880 the Defender was specified at. Thrunite states no weight, dimensions or IP rating, and 17 days on firefly is the only runtime given.

Beam profile

Flood, about 37° wide. Wide and even — light where you are, not where you're pointing.

Estimated from 1,600 lm ÷ 4,830 cd — how this works
