The consistent worry is heat. The light reaches around 70°C despite having thermal regulation, and reviewers recorded erratic up-and-down output during turbo and high runs rather than a clean step-down. Early samples also over-charged their cells — replacements charged correctly, but it's worth checking cell voltage after your first charge. Cell compatibility is fussy: unprotected flat-top 21700s or protected button-top 18650s.
