The beam is intense but keeps usable spill, which many dedicated throwers don't, and owners rate it great for the price and size.

The limitations are Convoy's plus one specific to the design: the battery tube only accepts genuine Samsung-dimension cells or equivalents, which frustrated an owner who wanted to build it into a super-thrower with a higher-drain cell. No accessories are included. And one owner found reverse-polarity protection didn't work as expected — though in Convoy style, Simon simply sent links to the replacement parts.
