Nitecore EDC29

Nitecore/EDC

Nitecore EDC29

The middle of Nitecore's flat EDC line, between the EDC27 and EDC37: two NiteLab UHi 20 MAX emitters, 6,500 lumens and 400 metres from a 2,500 mAh sealed cell. Search and Lumin Shield modes sit beside the four regular levels and strobe, and Rapid Lock disables the buttons for pocket carry. It is rated IP54 only, weighs 5.6 ounces, and Nitecore gives neither a CRI nor a turbo runtime; the 61-hour figure is the maximum.

Beam profile

Balanced, about 26° wide. A usable hotspot with enough spill to see around it.
