A AAA keychain light barely bigger than the cell it runs on, in aircraft-grade aluminium with an IP68 rating. Three modes with memory means it returns to the level you last used, and owners describe it as the sort of thing you slip in a pocket and forget about. Lumintop's build quality is solid as usual, and it's cheap enough to buy several.

The limits are honest ones for the format. It gets warm on high, because 120 lumens from something this small has nowhere to put the heat. It's bigger and less bright than some rivals like the Olight i3E. And the included diffuser is, by one reviewer's account, simply useless: it doesn't help when the light is pointed down, and used as a candle on a table only the lowest mode is tolerable.

Is the diffuser worth using?: One reviewer's verdict was blunt: it has no everyday or emergency use. It doesn't add light pointing down, and standing it as a candle only works on the lowest mode without being blinding.
