Olight Seeker Ultra

Olight/Flooder

Olight Seeker Ultra

Olight's mid-2026 Seeker flagship stacks four high-output LEDs behind a TIR lens for 4800 lumens of smooth wall-of-light flood, dialed steplessly from the rear switch with brightness and battery level shown on laser-microperforated indicators. The oversized 5800mAh 21700 stretches moonlight runtime to 17 days, and the included holster doubles as a USB-C charging dock - the light tops off in the pouch and auto-dims to 600 lumens if fired while docked. MCC magnetic charging carries over for existing Olight owners.

Beam profile

Flood, about 34° wide. Wide and even — light where you are, not where you're pointing.

What owners report

Olight Seeker Ultra/5 sources reviewed

A high-output all-rounder with an excellent beam pattern, long battery life and — finally — an integrated USB-C port alongside the magnetic charging, which reviewers say makes it far easier to live with. Build quality is top notch, dense and well made, using Olight's OAL superalloy. Measured throw came in just under 260 m on turbo in a calibrated test chamber. Reviewers call it a great all-rounder and one titled their review "the torch most people should buy".

The complaints are numerous and specific. The rotary knob feels cheap. The auto-lockout is annoying. Voltage immunity is poor. There's no power bank feature. And there's a genuine interface bug: high mode isn't memorised consistently — switch the light off in high and it reverts to medium after a minute or two, which reviewers describe as inconsistent, confusing and inconvenient. Enthusiasts also note Olight's continued use of low-CRI emitters, and some would prefer a dual flood-and-spot design.

Common complaints

  • High mode isn't memorised — it reverts to medium after a minute or two
  • The rotary knob feels cheap
  • Auto-lockout is intrusive
  • Poor voltage immunity and no power bank feature
  • Low-CRI emitters, and no dual flood-and-spot option

Questions people ask

What's the mode memory bug?
If you switch the light off while in high, it doesn't stay there — after a minute or two it reverts to medium. Reviewers found it inconsistent and confusing, and it's the most substantive complaint.
Does it charge over USB-C?
Yes, and it also keeps the magnetic charging. Having both is the main practical improvement over older Seekers.
How does it compare to the Seeker 4 Pro?
Reviewers debate whether it's a step forward or sideways. The Ultra gains OAL and triple charging options; the Seeker 4 Pro has features the Ultra dropped, including the power bank.
Is it worth the price?
Reviewers who like it call it the torch most people should buy; those who don't point at the cheap-feeling knob and the mode memory bug. Both views are about the same light.
