A general-purpose 21700 light that one reviewer called the best flashlight of its year, and the case is built on efficiency and colour quality rather than headline output. Construction quality draws zero complaints over years of ownership, it's comfortable to hold for long periods, and at around $99 with the cell included it's competitively priced against its peers. It tail-stands well and has a properly sized lanyard hole.

The limitations are about carry and interface. Most people will find it too large for a trouser pocket, the clip isn't right for front-pocket carry, and no holster is included. The button gives little tactile feedback, and unprotected cells can rattle or lose contact if the light is shaken hard. It's also explicitly not a tactical light: there's no momentary mode and no single-click turbo from off.

Is it an EDC light?: Only if you carry in a jacket or bag. Reviewers are clear that it's too big for most trouser pockets and the clip doesn't help. As a bag, vehicle or house light it's excellent.
Why do cells rattle?: The tube suits protected cells; an unprotected one is slightly shorter, so it can move and momentarily lose contact if the light is shaken. Use a protected cell or the supplied one.
What makes the colour quality good?: It runs high-CRI emitters and Acebeam bins them well, so the beam renders colours accurately without the green cast that spoils cheaper lights. Combined with the efficiency, that's the light's identity.
Can it be used tactically?: No. There's no momentary output and no way to reach turbo with a single click from off — both requirements for duty use. It's a general-purpose light.
