The AA/14500 right-angle headlamp, now on the V4 buck-boost driver: 79.8 mm by 21.4 mm, 33 grams. With the Nichia 519A at 5000K and CRI 90 a 14500 gives 645 lumens for a claimed 95 metres; the cool-white version is rated at 1,070 and a 3000K 519A at 560, and Skilhunt lists no candela. Charging is magnetic through the tail, which is itself magnetic; IPX8, 24-month repair warranty. The 519A version is $50.90 against a $46.90 starting price.
